Gunsmoke are from South Yorkshire and perform country and western music at venues in and around the North East, South Yorkshire and the Midlands. Gunsmoke also produce their own CD's of country music.

Gunsmoke are a Country and Western trio consisting of John on lead vocals, Ray on bass guitar and Rich on guitar. Both Ray and Rich support John with backing vocals providing the close vocal harmonies that Gunsmoke pride themselves on.

Gunsmoke have only been on the country and western scene for the last three years or so but John, Ray and Rich were first seen performing back in the great days of the club bands back in the sixties when the four and five piece groups were the kings of clubland.

The trio first hit the circuits again at the turn of the century - after a short break of 34 years according to John - playing music from the fifties and sixties under the name of ReRUN, but their love of country music soon had them working hard to generate a professional series of sets for the discerning country and western music enthusiast. Being long time lovers of the songs of the old timers which used to find their way into the 'pop' charts back in the sixties, Gunsmoke developed into an act consisting of mainly traditional country music but always with an open minded approach to music new to the scene. Their extensive list of recordings available elsewhere on the site are testimony to this.
